Take the Qbasic Networld Callenge!
If you think you're a hot-shot programmer, then try some of these programming challenges below. We admit, some of these challenges are incredibly hard, so don't fret if you can't do them. Just try your hardest. When you have completed the challenge, send your programs to [email protected]. The best programs will be added to the Qbasic Networld Program List and the author will be added to the Hall of Fame. Try to get your entries in as soon as possible.
Important Note: Make sure your entries are Qbasic BAS files that work with Qbasic ver. 1.1. We do not want programs that require anything else to run - OK?
Challenge #1 - Epic PacMan
Make a PacMan game better than EPIC.BAS. Include option for 1 or 2 players. To download Epic, click here.
Challenge #2 - Platform
Create a platform game with good graphics and is fun to play - preferably 1-2 players. Needs a title screen.
Challenge #3 - Crossword
Make a word sleuth / crossword maker that is better than SLEUTH.BAS and also has the option to print. To download Sleuth, click here.
Challenge #4 - Good One
Just make a game that is fun to play. The winner will become Qbasic Networld Person of the Month.
