This is Qbasic Networld's first month in existence and so far the response has been good. Qbasic Networld is an ADirk Website. ADirk is a group of websites that try to give you the services / information you want and keep the cost to a minimal ( Everything's FREE in Qbasic Networld!). What is Qbasic?

Qbasic is a high level computer programming language created by Microsoft. It is currently up to version 7.1 (please send us a copy of version 7.1 at [email protected]), but most people only have version 1.1. Qbasic is a great language to use if you're just starting computer programming because it's so easy to learn. But this ease of use comes at a price; Qbasic is so incredibly slooooow..... so you'll need at least a 486 to comfortably run complex Qbasic programs. What is QuickBasic?

QuickBasic is almost exactly the same as Qbasic, but it adds a couple of extra features, such as a compiler. A compiler is a program that can turn Qbasic BAS file into EXE files. Unlike Qbasic, QuickBasic is NOT free (it costs over one hundred American dollars), so don't ask us for a copy.
